After the success of his 'Sternal Symphonic Society', the German pianist, composer and triple ECHO jazz award winner Sebastian Sternal now focuses again on the small format: the classical piano trio. In a spectacular cast: On drums we have the much sought after and also ECHO award winning Jonas Burgwinkel, with whom Sternal has been working for years. On double bass there is an American jazz great: Larry Grenadier. The New York musician got famous world-wide as an accompanist to Brad Mehldau, Pat Metheny, Joshua Redman, and others. For the album 'Home', which was released in 2017, Sternal wrote exciting new compositions that build the starting-point for breathtaking trio interactions.
